Are you one of those people who are thinking about that job you let go while at the same time contemplating on getting it back? Do you feel like there seems to be no other option for you and are on the verge of accepting that you are probably meant to be miserable for the rest of your life? Don’t give up just yet. Life is one big classroom and the things you experience at different points in your life are your lessons. The moment you learn from a particular experience, mature form it and become a better person because of it, you move on to the next chapter. Otherwise, you will never graduate to the next level and it will always haunt you in one form or another. Life never runs out of lessons! Life is always full of them.
I remember when I took on a job as a virtual assistant. I get to stay at home, do my job at the comforts of my bedroom and earn twice as much! It was perfect! But then it got too stressful and I eventually quit. What was my lesson? Why did a lucrative job like that landed on my lap and why did I feel so miserable doing it after a couple of months? What was life telling me?
It was around that time that I religiously started applying the law of attraction. It’s a common knowledge among its practitioners that you get to attract what you think. Your mind acts like a magnet with energies traveling at particular frequencies. It doesn’t matter whether what you are subconsciously thinking is positive or negative. You will definitely attract your most dominant thoughts. Circumstances, people, events and things traveling at the same frequency will gravitate towards you. So my mantra went like this: “All great things are coming to me. Money is easy, comes frequently and abundantly.” And voila, out of nowhere, I was offered this very lucrative virtual assistant job. It worked! Life was telling me that indeed, whatever my mind perceives, the body will conceive. It is an infallible truth. It is one of universe’s basic laws — as basic as the law of gravity. It never fails. Then after several months, despite the amount of money I was earning, I felt that I needed to quit and pursue my passions. And so I did. I know that great things are always coming to me at the fastest, easiest way. Sometimes I make it hard by allowing guilt and despair to invade my emotions. But with proper mindset, I have no doubt that I will be able to make my new dreams come true. After all, I am living one now. How many people do you know has retired at the age of 30 and are doing the very things they love while at the same time feeling financially secure? I bet not a lot. But with the right attitude, you can do it too!
